Born in 1973 Campbell had already told anyone who"d listen that hed one day compete at the Olympics. He  been inspired by Carl Lewisperformances at the 1984 Games in Los Angeles, where the American sprinter won gold in the 100m 200m long jump and 4x100m.By that time the budding young athlete had already been competing for Sale Harriers for four years enrolled after his mother was bowled over by his first school sports day.
